Bamboo on GSA!
Published 08/14 courtesy of Bamboo Solutions Community
I am thrilled to announce that Bamboo has been awarded a five-year contract by the General Services Administration authorizing Bamboo Web Parts to be listed in Federal Supply Information Technology Schedule 70! This is a significant accomplishment, as it not only enhances the purchasing experience for Government Agencies who have purchased our Web Parts in the past, but it provides an opportunity for all agencies who can benefit from Bamboo Web Parts in their SharePoint environments to purchase Bamboo products on GSA-Advantage!
This GSA-Advantage procurement process is a win-win for both Bamboo and Government agencies, as it not only gives them the assurance that the prices have already been determined to be fair and reasonable, but it also accelerates the purchasing process. As well, Bamboo will now be able to more efficiently service Government agencies, tending to their SharePoint Web Part needs in as seamless a manner as is possible.
Bamboo Web Parts have been successfully deployed by a number of Government agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration, NASA, SSA, USDA , The US Army, US Air Force, US Navy, United States Contracting Command, and Alaska Army National Guard.
We frequently receive kudos from our Government customers. The following testimonial from the US Army is for the Bamboo Calendar Plus Web Part they had purchased:
The Calendar Plus Web Part has helped our users consolidate 4 long range planning calendars formerly done in Outlook, Excel, and the 2003 SharePoint portal in to a single user friendly entity. Leveraging the power of Content types within the portal, we were able to create a base template and then build 12 different Content types, one for each of our user sections, to add an event to the calendar. The Gantt and Compact Gantt View has helped our teams find overlapping areas, thereby reducing the stresses of allocating resources to a mission that were already engaged in another event. Our users love creating views for everything and having color coding to highlight different levels of importance has really helped our IT staff deliver a winner.
Our product list includes many proven winners in the Government market, including such bestsellers as PM Central, Calendar Plus, Alert Plus, List Rollup, all of which (and many more) will be available on GSA-Advantage by the end of next week. In the meantime, please feel free to send any inquires to us at gsa.orders@bamboosolutions.com.
We are very excited about our GSA award and look forward to many more success stories with Government Agencies using our Web Parts to enhance their SharePoint environments!
