Software reviews: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2007

There are two Microsoft Office Sharepoint products that I have used and I will review both of them here. They are Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007 and Microsoft Sharepoint Designer 2007. These are two vital programs for integrating and presenting business servers online. The functions of both are far ranging and expansive and the series overall is one of the best in its field.
Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 is a great product that allows you to do a lot of things helpful to small businesses. The software is an integrated suite of multiple online functions for a host of functions. Some of these include business process facilitation, simplified information sharing, content management and even search engine capabilities.
This software is very user friendly and intuitive. I think navigation is so simple that you can focus entirely on the product. The capabilities are very expansive and the product seems glitch free. Four stars out of four.
Microsoft Sharepoint Designer 2007 is another massive entry into the small business field by Microsoft. It improves over last years edition by a long shot. With this software you will finally be able to collaborate across the Internet. It is great for conjoining and interlocking functions.
I think this foundation for offline site building is very helpful with a lot of easily accessible features. If you are trying to co-opt or merge with another business or expand your base then this is the software for you. Three and a half stars out of four.
I think overall the Sharepoint line is one of the best in the whole Microsoft family. This software can be found through quick google search of www.microsoft.com. You can get a free trial of both so that you know about their capabilities before you buy.
Almost everybody buys them. They're that good.
