This Week in Bamboo (August 1st, 2010 - August 7th, 2010)

We also released more patches for both SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 products. The most important patch of the week is SharePoint Project Management Central (Release 1.8.69) for SharePoint 2010 where we fixed dispose and Cross-Site Scripting check. Please see below for more details.
SharePoint 2007 Products:
Patch Update:
Bug Fixed:
• Bamboo Link column cannot see MS Access type lists and Custom list in Datasheet of SharePoint.
Bug Fixed:
• New licensing to support Bamboo Ultimate Suite and Bamboo Project Management Suite.
SharePoint 2010 Products:
New Release:
HW41G Bamboo Column Level Security (R1.3.7)
New:
• Initial release on SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server 2010.
Limitations:
• Encrypted data is only accessible from the View Item page, and can’t be referenced from outside the list (for security reasons).
• No support for CAML Query.
• Unable to encrypt text longer than 185 characters.
HW41AB Bamboo Lookup Selector (R2.3.12)
New:
• Initial release on SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server 2010.
Limitations:
• This column does not fully support Data Sheet view.
• Sorting by and Grouping by a Lookup Selector is not supported.
• Lookup Selector columns do not support Radio Button fields as Trigger columns.
• This custom column is not tested in an environment where SharePoint 2007 is in-placed upgraded to SharePoint 2010.
HW41C Bamboo Rich Text (R1.3.14)
New:
• Initial release on SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server 2010.
Limitation:
• This column does not fully support Data Sheet view.
• This custom column is not tested in an environment where SharePoint 2007 is in-placed upgraded to SharePoint 2010.
HW41E Bamboo Validator Column (R1.3.12)
New:
• Initial release on SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server 2010.
Limitation:
• This custom column is not tested in an environment where SharePoint 2007 is in-placed upgraded to SharePoint 2010.
Patch Update:
The following products have the same bug fixed:
- HW03 Tree View Web Part (R1.7.21)
- SA12 SharePoint Project Management Central (R1.8.69)
Bug Fixed:
• Fixed dispose and Cross-Site Scripting check.
