The Importance of Customization in CRM and Product Support Adoption
Published 03/03 courtesy of Bamboo Solutions Community
CRM and Product Support software adoption is a crucial issue for companies as they make the strategic decisions about the right solutions for them. Companies count on these tools to streamline sales and marketing, improve customer service and increase effectiveness of product support teams. They are key elements in any company growth and customer retention plans, and at the core of these plans is the issue of adoptability.
Is the product easy to use? Will staff resist implementation? How much work will it take to deploy? Will staff ever embrace it, or will they use it grudgingly?
Here at Bamboo Cloud, we believe the one major answer to these questions hinges on customization. In order to be adopted by the company, applications must be flexible and easy to use. Staff must be able to customize the product to meet the organization's needs. This means customization must be accomplished with reasonable ease, without heavy reliance on IT support, and the process must be intuitive
The new suite of business tools, Bamboo Cloud, BambooCRM and BambooSupport are just that: Easy to customize, quick to deploy and not dependent on outside resources to implement. Customization is simple and can be done across the application, with the end result of a CRM and Product Support application tailored just to your organization's needs and wants.
For example: Almost every pick-list option used for the various modules of CRM and Support may be customized. Additionally, sales stages can be added, modified or removed within the sales opportunity module. The entire Sales and Support process can be modeled to match your organization's sales cycle.
Even better, reports can be customized and branded. Time zones and currency can also be adjusted to suit your company's needs. This is a great value to companies who rely on distributed teams.
Most importantly, all of this is possible without reliance on IT support. Such easy and flexible customization lets you define your own business rules, rather than having your business defined by default. Adopt, don't adapt. That's the Bamboo Cloud!
